Le Pressoir, Normandy Just back from a terrific holiday. The facilities are great, especially for a family with young children who loved running around the huge gardens, mucking about on the bouncy castles, swimming and, best of all, spending hours in the play barn (away from parents!). 45 minutes away from Le Mont St Michel and lots of nice beaches. Thoroughly recommended.Thanks for being such good hosts (and thanks a million for the baby-sitting and taxi service).

The gite, swimming pool, play/sports barn and surrounding area made for a lovely rural and peaceful relaxing holiday in the Normandy countryside. We made great use of the pool and sports barn. Le Pressoir was full of character and very well equipped. Although a rural location there was plenty to see and do in the area, with a small sized town only a short drive away. Sables d'or les Pins Having just spent a week in your lovely house, we want to thank you Paul for all your help.We thoroughly recommend the house. It is very spacious and extremely well equipped. Everything that we needed was there. The south facing balcony was well used, the sun was good, but the wind not!We travelled with our son and his famly of four boys, and all had a good time.The situation is very good for visiting the beaches, which are quite amazing. The Cottage and Le Pressoir We have just returned from a week at Paul and Dee?s gites having had a wonderful relaxing time. Our family came with us so we had both properties. The weather was beautiful enabling us to take full advantage of the amazing grounds and facilities. The grandchildren loved the swimming pool, the guys loved the golf and the girls just generally relaxed! We didn?t really need to ask for anything but both Paul and Dee were generally on hand to answer any questions. We spent all our time outside but had we needed to use it the play barn would have been an excellent addition to the whole experience. I am sure the family will visit again.

What a wonderful holiday we had in the cottage. Very helpful owners Paul & Dee, great accommodation, the playbarn for the kids and the huge garden, ... We had a very nice time, despite the weather. Paul and Dee did everything they could to compensate the bad weather (toys, movies, ...). The kids (6 and 3) loved it and thanks to Dee's babysitting we had the opportunity to have on off the best dinners ever in a restaurant nearby.

Great holiday Thank you for a great holiday. The Pressoir suited our needs and the facilities were amazing. Great to have the games barn for evening entertainment (and on the one rainy morning) and the pool when it was sunny. We also loved the golf which provided some interesting challenges! Good location for visiting the area too. We would certainly recommend to friends as ideal for children of all ages.

The Cottage - Sep 2015 We (family of 3) spent a week at this lovely Normandy property in September. The house and garden was lovely and the hosts, Paul and Dee, were very welcoming and helpful. The setting is rural and therefore very peaceful - but there are plenty of options for day trips and sightseeing within 30-60 min. drive in all directions. Would definitely recommend and would like to return in the future if we have the chance to do so.

Lovely holiday We have just returned from a week in Normandy, staying at the Pressoir. The gite was lovely - very cosy and well equipped. It is in a fantastic location with stunning views and conveniently situated for towns, beaches and attractions for children. The facilities for children were great -our son loved the play barn and the outdoor playground. Paul, Dee and family were so welcoming and friendly and our son, Ethan, really enjoyed playing with Rocky the kitten and is still missing him despite being back in the UK for several days! We would definitely recommend the gite to our friends and hope to visit again soon. Joe, Sarah and Ethan.

Again a nice holiday Back after 3 years, and again we had a lovely stay in the cottage the past 2 weeks. Paul and Dee did everything they could to help us were needed. We and our kids (6 and 8) enjoyed every minute of our holiday. A lot of things to see and do nearby (max. 1h30' drive to visit Caen, St-Malo, Dinan, ...)and in case of bad weather a lot to do on the premises.

The cottage Dear Paul & DeeThank you for a lovely 2 weeks. The setting is beautiful and our son loved the games room, saying it is the best one ever! The pool is lovely, and we enjoyed feeding the fish! The cottage is perfect.We would recommend seeing the Bayeux tapestry and visiting Dinan, Mont Saint Michel and Omaha and Utah beaches.We would highly recommend staying here.It was lovely to meet you both, thank you againGail, Ian and Harvey

The Cottage & Le Pressoir We've just got home from a wonderful family holiday at The Cottage and Le Pressoir. Thank you Paul and Dee for letting us stay at your beautiful gites. The set up was perfect for 6 adults and 2 children with clean, comfortable and well-equipped accommodation. Everything was perfect. Its a shame that the weather didn't allow us to make full use of the pool and garden (stunning setting) but we certainly had an amazing time in the Play Barn. It was an absolute gem of a find. Dee and Paul thank you again for your generous hospitality including welcome pack (very thoughtful) and letting us share your beautiful corner of Normandy. We wanted for nothing and hardly needed to move off site all week apart from trips to buy bread and pastries!! Our Holiday Paul and Dee were incredibly helpful, accommodating, and went above and beyond. Our children loved all the play equipment, feeding the ducks (and the rabbits and fish) and the pool was a great addition on sunny days. Our gite was comfy, clean and tidy, and it was great to find the cupboards stocked on arrival with tea, coffee and sugar, as well as bread, milk and jam! We all hope to be back very soon. Sables D'or Les Pins Had a fabulous 2 week holiday for the first 2 weeks in August. The house is much larger than it looks on the photos and has the added benefit of a laundry room which was handy! More than enough space for my husband and I, daughter and husband , son and wife and 3 granddaughters aged 7,5 and 4 plus a 6 month old baby. The high hair was a welcome addition. The kids were well entertained in the lovely large garden with its toys. Just a couple of minutes walk to the fabulous beach and the lovely unspoiled town. Plenty of places to eat and drink and a nice market on a Sunday. Thanks very much it was a great location!

Fabulous stay We couldn't have asked for two more welcoming hosts who made a point of interacting with our kids, as much as us, which was lovely. Le Pressoir is ideal for a family of four and the grounds are perfect to keep everyone entertained when not out and about. We will be back for sure
