2025 Tour de France
We are delighted to announce that the 2025 Tour de France will be taking place very close to all three of our gites.
On Wednesday, 9th of July, there is a 33km time trial section in and around Caen (1 hour drive from our Normandy gites at Le Mesnil Adelee).
On Thursday 10th of July, stage 6 of the tour sees riders cover the 201km hilly circuit between Bayeaux and Vire. Towards the end of the race, the riders will go through Le Mesnil Adelee along the road that is only 100m from Le Pressoir and The Cottage!
Le Pressoir, Saturday 5th to Saturday 12th July, 900 euros
The Cottage, Saturday 5th to Saturday 12th July, 1,350 euros
Stage 7 of the race, on Friday 11th of July, is the 194km stretch between St Malo and Mur-de-Bretagne in Brittany. Our gite, Sunset View, in Sables d'Or Les Pins is only a 10 to 15 minute car journey from several of the villages that this section passes through, including the seaside resort of Pleneuf Val Andre.
